How the pharmacy health check works
1. Complete the questionnaire
Option 1: Online account and payment
You create an account on prevcheck.ch and can immediately complete a questionnaire and pay in advance.
Your benefits:
✓Get started immediately
✓Save time by completing the questionnaire and payment in advance
✓Track your values in your account
Option 2: Questionnaire and payment at the pharmacy
Any pharmacy offering the InStore PrevCheck (identified by the green InStore badge in the top right corner) can provide you with a link to our questionnaire either anonymously via QR code or by SMS. Some pharmacies also offer the possibility to complete the questionnaire on a pharmacy device. Please ask directly at the pharmacy. The measurements can either be performed during the same appointment (ideally arrive fasting) or you can return for another appointment for the measurements.
Your benefits:
✓Everything done in one visit, even if it takes a little longer
✓You have the option to remain completely anonymous towards us
✓Digital version of your report accessible via QR code
✓Delivery by email available upon request
2. Measurements at the partner pharmacy
Four measurements are performed at the pharmacy:
✓Weight
✓Blood pressure
✓Cholesterol values (HDL, LDL, triglycerides, total cholesterol)
✓Long-term blood sugar (HbA1c)
For analysing blood values, each pharmacy has its own laboratory device. Therefore, the measurements only take a few minutes.
3. Evaluation and consultation
As soon as the pharmacy has transmitted your measurement values (see above), we can immediately create a report based on the questionnaire and the measurement results. This allows the results consultation to take place directly after the measurements.
The report includes:
✓Assessment of your lifestyle (nutrition, exercise, family history, substance use)
✓Your measurement results and their interpretation
✓Cardiovascular risk and equivalent heart age
✓Calculation of your 10-year diabetes risk
✓Recommended lifestyle adjustments
✓Recommended preventive measures based on your medical history
